10 Best Virtual Assistant Services In The Philippines

Stephen Turban
Co-founder of Leverage

Virtual assistants are professionals who work remotely to execute certain business activities.

If you feel your business has hit a saturation point, delegating tasks to a remote virtual assistant might help you overcome that stagnation and optimize workflows.

Such smart offloading has many benefits. It’s cost-effective, helps organizations become more productive, and fosters their growth and scaling.

In this regard, the Philippines often emerges as one of the most common choices for overseas delegation. That’s mainly because:

  • Filipino VAs are more affordable
  • Their workforce is highly skilled
  • They operate flexibly across different time zones

So, in today’s blog, we have compiled a list of the 10 best VA services in the Philippines.

How Did We Choose the 10 Best VA Services in the Philippines?

Here are the factors we considered to pick the best VA services in the Philippines:

  • Credibility: We gauged the credibility of the websites by the number of clients and candidates placed by them
  • Client Reviews: We assessed the credibility of the websites by checking their client ratings and reviews
  • Service Diversity: We evaluated the versatility of the websites by checking how many services they offer
  • Pricing Range: We checked the pricing diversity of the website to curate a list that’s fit for all kinds of businesses

Now, let’s check the list!

1. Leverage Assistants

Starting Price: $2,600/assistant/month, working full-time

Types of Remote Staff Provided: Virtual Assistants, Marketers, Designers, Developers, and Customer Support

US-Based Staff Availability: No. Globally based

Languages Supported: English

Credibility: High

Leverage Assistants is a white-glove virtual assistant staffing company. The company was founded by Stephen Turban, a serial entrepreneur and McKinsey alum (his last company was bootstrapped to 8-digit revenue), and it focuses on picking 1% talent globally and then training you to delegate to them effectively. Leverage is highly selective for applicants—selecting less than 0.2% of its applicants who apply.

Leverage Assistants match businesses with flexible, college-educated, competent offshore talent. Most of Leverage’s talent is in the Philippines or South Africa. Leverage is known for its high quality of talent and its delegation training for founders.

The service, however, is not as in-demand as other virtual assistant companies like Upwork (placement times are 2-4 weeks), and the service often includes a waitlist for interested founders. Leverage only provides full-time virtual assistants.

2. VirtualStaff.ph

Starting Price: $99/month

Types of Services Offered: Data Entry, Graphic Designing, Digital Marketing, Bookkeeping, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Both

Credibility: High

With over 1,000,000 professionals on board, VirtualStaff.ph is one of the top VA services in the Philippines. It serves as an all-in-one platform for hiring, managing, and working with a remote team. With VirtualStaff.ph, you can hire for various positions like customer service, data entry, business administration, etc. It also specializes in multiple industries, such as real estate, finance, and construction.

One of the aspects we like the best about VirtualStaff.ph is its comprehensiveness. Besides, the platform also gives you complete control over the rate you want to pay to your VA. However, its onboarding process is very lengthy. So, it can take you days to actually start working with the VA.

3. OnlineJobs.ph

Starting Price: $99/month

Types of Services Offered: SEO, Accounting, Content Writing, Shopify Development, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Both

Credibility: High

OnlineJobs.ph is a US-based VA company that provides Filipino professionals for hire. It offers access to over 2,000,000 VA profiles that it claims to be experienced and vetted. Some of its most common VA profiles include professionals with skills in social media marketing, content writing, lead generation, video editing, and SEO.

To hire, you only need to search for the position you’re looking to fill, and OnlineJobs.ph will give you a list of VA recommendations. This makes it easier, particularly for small businesses, to choose a professional precisely as per their needs. However, if you are an enterprise with large-scale needs, this one-by-one hiring approach might not work for you.

4. MultiplyMii

Starting Price: 25% of the annual salary (one-time) + $99/month (optional)

Types of Services Offered: Accounting, HR Management, Graphic Designing, Project Management, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Both

Credibility: High

If you are aiming to build a remote team of Filipino virtual assistants, MultiplyMii can be an option for you. This VA service in the Philippines functions as an end-to-end solution, catering to needs like VA headhunting, management, and development. Its VAs are skilled in a diverse range of skills—right from CRM management to accounting and more.

This is a solid choice for businesses with a growing team that’s constantly evolving and has little to no time to devote to grooming new recruits. MultiplyMii does this job on your behalf, and that’s a major pro. But on the downside, MultiplyMii’s pricing plan is complex and can prove to be expensive in the long run.

5. Outsourced

Starting Price: NA

Types of Services Offered: Web Development, Customer Service, Clinical Administration, Administrative Assistance, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time

Credibility: Medium

As the name suggests, Outsourced is a VA outsourcing platform. Based in the Philippines, this company claims to recruit the top 5% talent at 75% less cost. Some of the industries its professionals operate in include hospitality, real estate, IT, and eCommerce. As for their services, they span both fundamental and niche-specific activities.

Outsourced offers considerable flexibility to businesses looking for VAs. Depending on your needs, you have the option to hire both home-based and office-based professionals. However, despite its claims, we cannot gauge how cost-effective the platform really is because its actual pricing details are unavailable.

6. Remote CoWorker

Starting Price: $9.99/hour

Types of Services Offered: Bookkeeping, Tech Support, Back Office Support, BPO, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Both

Credibility: Medium

Remote CoWorker is another well-known name in the Filipino VA industry. This platform is particularly suitable for businesses wanting to build a remote team of dedicated VAs at an affordable cost. Its VAs specialize in basic admin duties like back office support, bookkeeping, and customer service across select industries like healthcare, legal, eCommerce, insurance, and hospitality.

The platform claims all its VAs are vetted and college-educated with native English proficiency. We also like it's inexpensive pricing plans. However, one problem with Remote CoWorker is its limited range of services. Moreover, if our needs are slightly niche, our guess is this platform will not be able to help you fulfill them.

7. Hello Rache

Starting Price: $9.50/hour

Types of Services Offered: Virtual Receptionist, Virtual Administrative Assistant, Virtual Scribe, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time:

Credibility: Medium

If you belong to the healthcare industry and are looking for a competent VA to help you, Hello Rache could be the right choice. It’s a platform that provides registered nurses and healthcare professionals based in the Philippines. You can delegate tasks like virtual reception, administration, etc. You can also hire specialists in specific healthcare verticals like dental healthcare, optometry healthcare, and veterinary healthcare.

Hello Rache claims all its healthcare VAs are vetted, trained, and HIPPA compliant. Moreover, it follows a flat pricing approach that’s also inexpensive. However, the platform’s credibility is low - an insight gleaned from its Trustpilot reviews

8. Outsource Access

Starting Price: Custom pricing

Types of Services Offered: Accounting & Bookkeeping, Email Management, Product Research, Legal Services, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Both

Credibility: Low

Outsource Access is a platform that facilitates businesses located anywhere in the globe to hire professional, Filipino VAs. With a team of over 500 experts, this company operates in 70+ industries. Its VAs offer services like digital marketing, accounting, customer service, and so on. Moreover, the company also has individual service packages for solopreneurs, small businesses, and medium businesses.

As a platform, there are two main things we like about Outsource Access. Firstly, their approach to providing VAs to a business is not generic—it’s highly tailored and need-specific. Secondly, their range of services is very comprehensive. However, the platform’s Trustpilot ratings are average and its pricing details are ambiguous.

9. Virtual Done Well

Starting Price: Custom pricing

Types of Services Offered: Social Media Management, CRM Management, Web Development, Bookkeeping, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Both

Credibility: Low

Virtual Done Well is another platform where you can hire Filipino VAs for your remote team. It offers many services that span most technical, non-technical, and consultation support needs, like call handling, social media management, telemarketing, bookkeeping, etc.

One thing we like most about Virtual Done Well is the range of services—it’s vast and exhaustive. Besides that, there are multiple drawbacks associated with the platform. Firstly, its pricing details are unavailable on the website without a call to the team, so we can’t evaluate its credibility at first glance. Secondly, their VA skills are primarily surface-level. So, we don’t think this platform would be a good fit for businesses with advanced delegation needs.

10. Cloudstaff

Starting Price: Custom pricing

Types of Services Offered: Email Management, Calendar Management, Online Chat Support, Research, and more

Full-Time/Part-Time: Both

Credibility: Not enough data to be asserted

Cloudstaff is an outsourcing platform that pools professionals from around the globe, including the Philippines. It has a workforce of 500,000+ experts who offer services like accounting, administration, property management, etc. They also double up as virtual assistants who are skilled in email management, travel booking, contract management, and other nitty-gritty.

The platform claims to train all its professionals before recruiting them to a company. Another thing we like about Cloudstaff is that it offers a comprehensive set of remote services. However, its pricing details are not available. Also, the proficiency of its VAs is limited to basic administration.
